MPDS4™ - Meeting the challenges of plant design
Quintic provides a significant amount of both core and applications development for MPDS™, a hybrid 2D/3D plant design system on which we work in partnership with CAD Schroer's developers in Germany.
Now in its Fourth generation, MPDS provides an outstanding range of design and documentation capabilities to support both process and mechanical design requirements.
Using a powerful combination of 3D graphics and a continuous database, the largest plants can be modelled and viewed with ease, even in multi user environments. The MPDS™ 2D Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) system ensures consistency and accuracy between process diagrams and the plant design. Other powerful modules include Electrical, Piping, Steel, and Ducting Design, as well as Hangers & Supports.
