Routed Systems Designer Software Development
The Pro/ENGINEER® Routed Systems Designer (RSDesigner), developed by Quintic in partnership with PTC®, The Product Development Company™, is a component of the revolutionary Pro/ENGINEER software, developed and marketed by PTC.
The Pro/ENGINEER Routed Systems Designer empowers users to create complex multi-disciplinary schematic diagrams quickly and easily as an integral part of the total product development process.
It supports the creation of interrelated electrical circuit and wiring diagrams, process and instrumentation (P&ID) diagrams and block diagrams within a single design, and is highly customisable to suit a wide variety of applications.
The Routed Systems Designer is the only package that can drive both Pro/ENGINEER Cabling Design and Pro/ENGINEER Piping Design, which provide the 3D routing capabilities for the designer.

Development of Electrical Design Software Module for Plant Design System
A new and powerful discipline for MPDS4, developed by Quintic in partnership with CAD Schroer Germany, the MPDS4 ELECTRICAL DESIGN application provides everything designers need for routing electrical systems throughout their plant, ship or factory.
MPDS4 ELECTRICAL DESIGN is used to build networks of cable ladders, trays and trunking; add power distribution bus bars; create cables between any items of equipment and auto-route cables across support networks.
The software is very customisable and supports any number of specific user applications and bespoke catalog creation.

Data Lookup Utility for Submarine Wiring Designs
Quintic developed a custom utility for use with the Pro/ENGINEER® Routed Systems Designer software for a customer who designs and manufactures power and magnetic product solutions. The utility scans electric wiring designs for submarines, matching wire names to entries in a separate database, then applies properties to the wires based on the database entries. The tool enabled two different departments to work concurrently on designs, with information provided by one department automatically picked up by the other.
Property Data Lookup Customisation for Automotive Designs
Quintic provided Pro/ENGINEER® Routed Systems Designer implementation services for one of the world's most well-known automotive firms. Quintic also developed a custom CSV data lookup tool, which reads property data from the company's databases to automatically integrate into its designs.
Reporting and Data Retrieval Customisations for Security Systems Designs
Quintic provided Java development training and customisation services to a global security company, which designs, develops, manufactures, integrates and maintains high tech systems. The customisations to its Pro/ENGINEER® Routed Systems Designer software included client-specific reporting and element property retrieval functionality.
Schematic Software Consultancy Services
Quintic provided software consultancy services to one of the world's leading consumer and business technology companies, headquartered in Germany. The work included a proof of concept for converting an existing library into Pro/ENGINEER® Routed Systems Designer format.
Schematic Software Implementation and Cabling and Piping Support
Quintic assisted a large Spanish Pro/ENGINEER® customer with the implementation of the Routed Systems Designer, and developed support to drive Cabling and Piping. Further customisations were supplied to expanded existing functionality, for example multi-line text support.
Development of Cyrillic Font Support in Schematics Software
In this project Quintic developed support for Cyrillic style fonts in a 2D schematics application of one of the world's largest independent CAD vendors.
